SANTA MARIA MAIOR

Santa Maria Maior is the result of the largest merger of parishes in Portugal. The parish of Santa Maria Maior unites twelve parishes that have a long common past. It is closely linked to the Cathedral of Lisbon, which was originally the church of Santa Maria Maior and was built in 1150 by King Afonso Henriques three years after the conquest of Lisbon from the Moors.

PRAÇA DO COMÉRCIO

It is one of the most beautiful places in Europe, opening out to the south towards the huge Tagus estuary. Until the advent of air travel, it was Lisbon's main reception area for those arriving by boat, allowing them to enjoy the beauty of the city even more.

ARCO DA RUA AUGUSTA

The triumphal arch on Rua Augusta has always impressed anyone strolling through Lisbon's busiest pedestrian street. Today, you can visit the top of this unique monument and enjoy a truly unique and impressive view of downtown Lisbon and the Tagus River.

MIRADOURO DAS PORTAS DO SOL

Overlooking the lacy streets of the neighborhood, it extends in the form of tiles, long and narrow, from Largo das Portas do Sol, where there is also another small terrace on the left and a higher one on the right.
